I live in a rented flat in Birmingham where the hard water is quite severe, and limescale builds up ridiculously fast. I wasn’t keen on installing anything permanent, so this RO purifier was exactly what I needed.

The difference in taste is immediate – no chalky residue at all, just clean, crisp water. The 3-second instant hot water is brilliant, especially compared to waiting around for a kettle. It’s also noticeably more energy-efficient since it only heats what you use.

I mainly use the 85°C setting for tea and occasionally 45°C for my niece’s formula when she visits – very precise and convenient. The plug-and-play design makes it ideal for renters like me.

Honestly, it’s one of those upgrades you don’t realise you needed until you try it.

Living in London, hard water has always been a problem – kettles scale up so quickly and the water taste isn’t great. I bought this Ciarra RO hot water dispenser mainly for convenience, but it turned out to be a huge upgrade for water quality too. The RO filtration really improves the taste, and I love that I can get hot water in just 3 seconds without waiting. No installation needed, which is perfect for my rented flat. I now use it every day for tea and even cooking. Honestly, it replaced my kettle completely.

Living in a high-hardness area in the UK, my kettle used to be covered in limescale within a week. This RO system has been a game-changer—the 4-in-1 filtration really gets rid of that chalky aftertaste. I especially love the 85°C setting for my green tea and the fact that it heats in 3 seconds; it's much more energy-efficient than boiling a whole kettle for one mug. I’m giving it 4 stars because the 2.4L tank is a bit small for a family of four, so we refill it quite often, but the water quality is undeniably bottled-standard.

Had this RO water dispenser sitting on the counter for days now and I’ve ended up using it more than I thought. The tap water round here’s always been pretty hard and you can usually taste it in tea, but with this it’s noticeably better. I’ve pretty much stopped buying bottled water since getting it. The hot water part is what I use the most though. I drink loads of tea and it’s nice not having to wait around for the kettle all the time. My girlfriend’s been using it for her herbal teas as well so it gets plenty of use during the day. One thing I didn’t expect is how handy it is late at night – quick noodles or just a quick drink without messing about with the kettle, better than microwaving stuff at 2am anyway. It’s been sitting on the side since we set it up and doesn’t really get in the way. Simple bit of kit but does the job well.

I’ve had this RO machine on the counter for a few days now and it’s been dead handy, to be fair. The tap water down south has never been great—I used to just buy bottled water all the time. This actually makes it taste cleaner, not so heavy.

The hot water’s the main reason I got it though. I drink loads of tea and not having to wait for the kettle saves a fair bit of time in the morning. The missus is well chuffed an’ all because she can set a lower temp for her green tea.

I thought it might look a bit bulky on the counter but it’s actually pretty tidy and doesn’t take over the space. Took about two minutes to set up. With kids running around the child lock’s a good thing to have, and the display’s handy just to see everything’s working.

Hardly bought any bottled water since getting it, which was the whole point really. Glad I picked this one up.
