Ciarra’s stainless steel baffle filters are dishwasher-safe, simply remove them and place them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning, while carbon filters cannot be washed and should be replaced every 3–6 months depending on usage.
2. Is a Cooker Hood Really Necessary?
Yes, a cooker hood is really necessary because without one, cooking fumes, grease, and odors stay trapped in your kitchen, leading to poor air quality, sticky surfaces, and lingering smells that spread throughout your home. Good suction for a 60cm recirculating cooker hood, and it’s a nice match for our black appliances. The LED light is bright and energy-saving. However, the installation guide wasn’t very clear, and the fixing screws were oddly short. Still, it does the job well once set up.

This slim integrated cooker hood fits perfectly under my cabinet and looks sleek in black. It’s fairly quiet and the carbon filter works well for recirculation. My only minor gripe is the push buttons—they feel a bit plasticky, but function fine. Overall, very effective for light daily cooking.
