Very nice and efficient hood.
Four speeds, two light intensities, not noisy at all. Bought with my eyes closed. Very nice finish once installed.
Looks good, unlike some other reviews I don’t find the fan to be noisy and the suction is fine, in fact on boost the noise is equivalent to the one it replaced on its second setting. The fitting instructions are very easy to follow. I have deducted one star purely because I found the fixing brackets to be very flimsy, they bent away from the wall under the weight of the unit. I had to drill a couple of extra fixing holes to counter this other than that extremely happy with it.
I recieved a cooker hood from Ciarra.It was scratched and dented, the damage was clearly done before it went in the box.It was obvious to see that one of the scratches had been vigorously rubbed and damaged the paint finish.
I initially asked for a replacement chimney as this is where the damage was.
It was refused,the reason given was that the company did not have spare chimney parts.
Ciarra told me that the damage would not affect the performance of the cooker hood and offered me £16 in compensation!!
Obviously I refused as a scratched and dented cooker hood was of no use to me.
Ciarra then offered me £40 in compensation and suggested I ordered a new one from them,they also suggested that I sell the damaged appliance privately to recoup my losses!!
During this exchange of e mails, I changed my request for a replacement part to asking for a full refund and a collection of the damaged appliance as per their 30 day money back guarantee/terms and condition.
Ciarra have completely ignored my request for a return and refund.The company now appear to have stopped responding to my request completely.
This is now in the hands of my credit card company and I have a damaged cooker hood sitting in my porch!
I would never have anything to do with this company again and I would strongly advise others to do the same.
This company have no UK customer service and all correspondence is via China which is delayed and extremely frustrating.
They do end each e mail wishing me a happy life life though !! 😩😩
quick delivery, well boxed, looks smart and works well, fumes and smells soon gone, cood buy.
Once fitted and tested it works perfectly, did not mistaken for the choice, color, size all Match up.
