Ventilation Mode

You can choose between recirculation or extraction mode.

Recirculation Mode: Recirculating with CBCF003-OW (included), you must install the carbon filter for recirculating. The smells and odors can be filtered and vented through the top vented hole and the exhaust pipe is not required.

Extraction Mode: You can install the 1.5m long and 150mm diameter aluminum exhaust pipe for extracting, which is included in the installation kit.

Design and Performance

A very beautiful cooker hood. The column feels a bit fragile during installation—be careful, as it scratches quite easily. It offers good suction power and impeccable noise levels; my only minor complaint is that, for my taste, it lacks a central light spot.

As for suction power—since I have just installed it—I cannot evaluate it yet. At settings 1 and 2, the noise level is quite low. Installation is simple.

Delivery experience leaves room for improvement

The 90 cm Ciarra kitchen hood arrived well-packaged, and the product itself is of good quality. The black glass design is elegant and blends in well with the kitchen, while the 650 m³/h suction power does an effective job of eliminating smoke and odours.

Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star for the delivery experience: the courier was unhelpful and handled the package carelessly, especially considering that it is a rather delicate appliance.

Once installed, however, it works well; the touch controls are intuitive, and the washable filters are practical. Overall, it is a good 90 cm extractor hood, though the delivery experience leaves room for improvement.

I was looking for a 90cm cooker hood that combines modern design with strong performance, and this Ciarra wall mounted cooker hood A+++ ticks all the boxes. The black glass finish looks very sleek and fits perfectly in my open-plan kitchen, giving it a much more premium feel.

Performance-wise, the 650 m³/h extraction rate is excellent for everyday UK cooking – whether it’s frying, grilling or cooking with strong spices. The 4 speed levels + booster function give you full control depending on how much steam or smoke you’re dealing with. I mostly use level 2 or 3, which is fairly quiet, and only switch to max when needed.

Another big plus is the flexibility: you can use it with ducted extraction or recirculation with carbon filters, which is ideal for flats. The A+++ energy rating is also a bonus, helping keep electricity usage low.

The touch control + WiFi app makes it feel like a proper smart appliance, and the LED lighting is bright enough to clearly see the hob while cooking. Cleaning is straightforward thanks to the washable aluminium grease filters and smooth glass surface.

Overall, this is a powerful, energy-efficient, and stylish 90cm extractor hood – ideal for anyone upgrading to a modern, high-performance kitchen setup.
