Ordered the hood first, so impressed with that I bought Hob to go with it. Had an older induction hob (NOT Ciarra) and bought this as replacement Honestly I am very pleased with it on the older hob some pans would not work with it, but this one accepts all the pots and pans I have without a problem. nice one CIARRA and very competitively priced. thanks
I needed to find a replacement for the Zanusi induction hob which I damaged when I dropped a glass mustard pot on it. To find a similar hob with features and size The Ciarra fitted the bill. Easy to install and easy to use I am very pleased with my choice. My wife always found the Zanusi difficult to operate but has taken to the Ciarra like a duck to water!
Great value for money and unlikeother reviews the fan is not noisy.You don't even notice it whencooking. Love the sliding control.Thoroughly recommend.
good appliance
This Hob was a replacement for my old AEG hob. The first Ciarra hob arrived and was broken. It looked as if a metal Rod had been dropped on the box and broke the glass. Ciarra promptly replaced the hob and I was asked to dispose of the broken hob. I had been quoted £575:00 to replace the old hob. As the cabling to the distribution box was already in place I decided to fit the hob myself. I have an engineering background. Sure enough the wiring was different to the old hob. I was able to take out the old wiring disconnect the new hob wiring and thread it through the holes of my units and reconnect the Ciarra hob. Having fit the new hob it works fine. It makes a slight noise when in use and it seems as if the heat element is pulsed. I.e. coming on then going off and on again. Apart from that I am very pleased with the purchase.
