FAQS ⁉

1. My landlord will not allow external wall drilling. Can I still use this hood?
Yes. This model can be used in recirculating mode with the included carbon filters where outside venting is not available. Please check your tenancy agreement, building rules and installation conditions before fitting.
2. Will it fit a standard kitchen wall cupboard?
At 520 × 280 × 230.5 mm, it is designed for many standard 60 cm British wall cupboards. Always measure your existing cabinet space and check the installation manual before purchase.
3. Are carbon filters included?
Yes. Two CBCF002X2 carbon filters are included as standard for recirculating mode. Replacement frequency depends on cooking frequency and filter condition.
4. Is it quiet enough for an open‑plan kitchen?
The hood operates at 51 dB, 56 dB and 60 dB across its three speed settings. Lower speeds are suitable for lighter everyday cooking, while the higher setting supports stronger extraction when cooking produces more steam or odour.
5. Will it help with cooking smells near a sofa or living area?
The grease filter helps capture airborne grease, while the carbon filters in recirculating mode help reduce cooking odours before air returns to the room. Results depend on room size, ventilation, filter condition and cooking intensity.
6. Do I need an electrician to install it?
Installation requirements depend on your existing setup. If replacing an old hood, it may be possible to use existing fittings and power arrangements, but a qualified installer or electrician should be consulted if you are unsure.
