I bought this induction hob to replace a Beko hob that was showing serious signs of wear after 6 years. This CIARRA CABBIH4-F hob has a power of 6000W distributed over 4 zones, 2 at 1800W and 2 at 1200W, with the zones of equal power placed diagonally. At 6000W, there is no booster function. My previous hob didn't have one either. After 2 days of use, I find it works very well. The touchscreen responds very well, and the induction is quite efficient. This hob is very responsive and heats up quickly. The power distribution over 9 levels is well distributed, unlike my previous hob. Compared to my previous plate, to sear a meat I had to be at 7 out of 9, with this one I am at 6 out of 9. I will see its reliability over time because for the moment it is new and everything is going well. I find the quality/price ratio excellent given its consistent performance.
This was to replace old hob that got cracked. It is better as old one use to turn off on its own with 3 rings on. This is more reliable.Only difference is fan runs for a couple of minutes after switch off to cool it down
